Located on the South Holston River, Trout House is the perfect place for any angler looking to wade fish or float. The spacious layout includes 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths, one level with over 400 feet of private river frontage. Trout House is managed by Tailwaters Lodge. This section of the river is closed to fishing from Nov. 1 - Jan. 31 for spawning. Ring outdoor security system is operational on premises.

Tailwaters Lodge waterfront access is reserved exclusively for guests staying on the Tailwaters Lodge campus.
There are several beautiful public access points nearby. The TVA provides trails along the South Holston River, offering great opportunities for fishing, walking, and enjoying the scenery:
- Blue: Tailwaters Trail (1.4 miles)
- Red: Emmett Trail (1.1 miles)
- Purple: Osceola Island Trail (1.8-mile loop)
- Orange: Bouton Trail Loop (1.5 miles)

Awesome fishing rental
Friends and I stayed at the Trout House recently and it was awesome. GREAT fishing spot away from public access. House was perfect, super clean, comfortable, and more than enough space for our group of 6 adults. Host was very communicative and helpful, no issues at all. We will definitely be back!
