Designed with larger groups in mind, this three-level lodge offers six bedrooms, two kitchens, and ample gathering space, making it the ideal choice for family reunions, corporate retreats, fly fishing groups, or private celebrations. Lower level has one bedroom (one king bed and one twin bed), main floor has three bedrooms (1st bedroom - one queen bed, 2nd bedroom - queen and two twin beds, 3rd bedroom - queen and one twin bed), and upper floor (1st bedroom - queen and two twin beds, 2nd bedroom - queen and one twin bed) totaling 6 bedrooms, 1 king, 5 queens and 7 twin beds.

The Hatch is located approximately 400 yards from the river with the river wrapping around the property. Or set out with daypacks to explore scenic river trails and nearby portions of the Appalachian Trail. For racing fans, Bristol Motor Speedway is just 15 miles away, providing an exciting daytime adventure before returning to the tranquility of the mountains.
Inside, The Hatch is designed for connection and comfort—with two well-appointed kitchens, 2.5 baths, and a dining area that seats up to 24 guests. (Max 12 lodging guests at the Hatch) Two private entrances (front and rear) provide added flexibility, with the upper entrance reached via a scenic stone walkway and expansive 16' x 25' deck. Evenings invite storytelling around the outdoor firepit or relaxing beside the indoor gas log fireplace.

Bruce and Paula love the outdoors and want to share that experience with others. When they hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2012, it transformed their lives in ways they didn't imagine. They experienced tremendous peace while hiking, enjoying the solitude of the trail, marveling at the birds, and soaking in the simplicity of hiking. Bruce worked for many years as a pastor and also owned a financial planning business. He got his start working for General Electric Company in corporate finance. Paula worked as a special education teacher for many years. She is wonderful with children! They have two children - Jessica, who is now in heaven, and son Joshua, who lives in the Boston area.
